Widget gallery Zooming
Zoom on mouse click
Clicking map triggers zoom function default mouse behaviour.
Single-clicking anywhere on the map, the map view zooms in by a fixed magnification factor centred on the mouse pointer. This widget allows for sequential zooming. Users can only zoom in to the next level of detail and cannot skip any zoom steps. Note that the map zooms in to the location where the user clicked, not to the centre of the current map view.
This behaviour of the mouse pointer is typical for online mapping applications and can be found at many mapping websites. The behaviour can be changed such that users can only pan the map by unchecking the box at the lower right corner.
